NYS APSE and the New York Alliance for Inclusion & Innovation in collaboration with DDAWNY, IAC, Cerebral Palsy Association in NYS, and The Arc NY present: Webinar: A Call to Action - Providing Remote Supports to People Working who Have I/DD Disabilities

Friday, March 27th from 10:00-11:30AM join colleagues from around the state to review existing OPWDD SEMP regulations to better understand how during this time of upheaval in routine your agency can still provide necessary services and supports to people funded under waiver SEMP and be funded.

In addition joining us will be JoanMarie Dowling from Dowling Law, PLLC. She will be reviewing the basics of what's expected should one of the people your agency coaches need to file for NYS Unemployment.

The Call to Action for our field is now. Guidance out so far from OPWDD allows for remote services to be delivered. Let's work together to support people and retain as many jobs as possible while still billing for these services. Colleagues will share what they are doing so others can learn! If you are unable to join the live presentation, register anyway as all registrants will receive a link to the recorded webinar following the live presentation.

Note, please distribute this to coaches as those that participate may bill for the time spent learning as an indirect service!
