This year in lieu of our regional DSP Conference, we will celebrate DSPs virtually on September 9, 2020.  This virtual celebration of DSPs is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It will include featured speakers expressing their thanks to DSPs and offering encouraging words of wisdom, stories from the field; especially about their work during the COVID 19 pandemic. It will include a panel of self-advocates along with prizes and much more.

    Make a Contribution!
As we celebrate DSPs in this new virtual format agencies will have the opportunity to be recognized as a Contributor of this event.  As a Contributor, you will make a contribution to cover the cost of DSP participation along with prizes to be given as opposed to previous years where there was a per person registration cost.  In turn, your agency will be listed as a Contributor and you may have as many DSPs as you would like to attend the event with no additional cost for participation.

Today, where so much of what we see and hear is a bit dismaying, we must be the light that shines and inspires each other.  It is essential that DSPs know the work they do is important and that they are appreciated by you and in the field.  Therefore, we invite you to record a short message of thanks and appreciation to DSPs that will be played during the conference.  It will also be shared widely in our conference platform and during the month of September via our social media outlets.  It can be a message from you as CEO, or a Board member, Parent, or Frontline Supervisor.  We will be in touch to discuss the logistics and coordination of making the recording.
