We all experience conflict in our life; and conflict in the workplace is inevitable. As a leader, it is your responsibility to ensure that conflict has as little impact as possible on the important work you and your team does. This often includes not only effectively handling conflict that you may be experiencing directly, but also intervening in conflict that occurs amongst your team members.

However, many leaders are “conflict adverse” and often go to great lengths to avoid dealing with conflict—their own as well as that of others. This can have devastating effects on the morale, performance and motivation of team members. This webinar will help you to develop the skills to handle conflict in a number of situations and feel more comfortable doing so. We will:

    • Explore why we avoid conflict and the impact that avoidance can have
    • Some things you can do proactively that can help to reduce or prevent some conflicts from occurring
    • Some techniques and tips to mediate conflict amongst your team members
    • How to increase your “toolkit” of conflict resolution strategies and identify those situations where each is most effective

The workshop will be experiential and interactive.
