    The Center for Innovation & Learning provides training opportunities for Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Community Rehabilitation Counselors and more. 

    The New York Alliance for Inclusion & Innovation is recognized as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers (#0105) by the New York State Education Department's State Boards for Social Workers and Licensed Mental Health Counselors.

    Diabetes Management Training

    Our Diabetes Management trainings, Diabetes 360 and Diabetes 180 have been approved by NYS OPWDD as meeting their requirements for RNs managing Diabetes. Click Here to learn more and register for upcoming trainings.

    Diabetes 360: Full Circle Understanding - This training meets the requirement for diabetic education of RN's contained in NYS OPWDD Administrative Directive 2003-01 and qualifies as the initial RN Train-the-Trainer. 

    Diabetes 180: Supporting the Best Possible Outcomes - This training meets the requirement for diabetic education of RN's contained in NYS OPWDD Administrative Directive 2003-01 and qualifies as the Annual Renewal for RN's who have already completed the Train-the-Trainer.

    Telephone Triage Training

    Telephone triage / management has become an important dimension of ID/DD residential care systems. Increased numbers of individuals with ID/DD who have complex healthcare needs now live in community settings. This training is intended to provide RNs with the tools necessary to assess a situation over the phone and to provide direction to direct care staff.
